I Shifnal

On 14th February 2017, an initiative was launched in Shifnal to find out what makes this charming market town so unique. This followed collaboration between Shifnal Town Council, Shropshire Council, West Mercia Police and TEAM Shifnal. Shifnal's two Primary Schools and through the local Library for applications from Idsall School and residents.

A total of nearly 400 completed postcards were judged by an independant panel. Here are the top 10 from each School and 10 from residents which we hope you will enjoy reading - and hopefully, agree with!

Thank you to everyone who took part and to the Headteachers, Teachers and everyone who supported us.
A heatfelt collection from residents - young and old - on why Shifnal is such a lovely place to live, work and play.

We hope you enjoy reading them.

Shifnal Town Council.
