Saturday evening the government announced a 4 week lockdown for England starting on Thursday 5 November.
. We would like to reassure our community that the Town Council members and officers are working to understand the detail of this decision and how it impacts on local services.
Further announcements will be made as soon as possible about the local impact and what support is available.
Many of you will have questions but at the moment we are not in a position to answer them so please await more announcements from today onwards. We did not receive any notification prior to the announcement and we will do all we can to support our community, as soon as we are clear on the implications of the announcement
