Thank you to those who have sent in photographs of Shifnal in the snow.
The snow came down on Friday 8th December 2017 and the schools were closed.
Saturday 9th December wasn't too bad - abit icy and the snow did not melt. When we awoke on Sunday 10th December, WOW! There had indeed been a snowstorm overnight.
On Monday 11th December, the temperature didn't raise above freezing and the schools were once again closed. A warning not to travel unless you had to was issued. In the meantime, children and adults have enjoyed walks in the snow and made snowmen.
Here is a selection of photographs encapsulating the beauty of Shifnal in the snow.
If you have any photographs you would like to share of this time, please send them to:- info@shifnaltowncouncil.gov.uk
I look forward to receiving your fantastic photos!
