Shifnal's award winning sensory garden can be found at Innage Road, Shifnal. TF11 9AW.
Shifnal Millennium Sensory Garden Group was set up in 1998 to create a permanent reminder of the millennium, but mainly to create a public space of lasting beauty and to give pleasure to those confined to wheelchairs, those who have a vision or hearing impairment and the generally less mobile members of the community. The garden is voluntarily maintained to a high standard by a dedicated group of committee members and friends of the garden.
The garden is open all day and every day for the enjoyment of the townspeople of Shifnal and surrounding areas and is often used as a backdrop for wedding and christening photographs due to its close proximity to the town church.
