




Shifnal Town Council is seeking to appoint the following role, to support the Town Clerk and the team in the smooth running of town council operations and the day to day activities they carry out to improve the lives of the residents and visitors to Shifnal.
Finance Assistant
Responsible for input of income and expenditure details to Edge IT software package. Issue of invoices and preparing monthly reports for Council. Preparing banking, assisting with VAT returns and all cashbook, banking procedures and reconciliations. Support the Town Clerk with other financial matters as required.
This post is a permanent position. 15 hours per week (Flexibility can be agreed with the successful candidate on how these may be performed.)
Salary £21,575 – £21,968 FTE, pro rata (actuals based on 15hrs/week £8,743.80 – £8,907.60)
