Traffic Islands and Other Spaces
Traffic Islands and Other Spaces
Shifnal Town Council’s Green Spaces Operative maintains two traffic islands in Shifnal: one at the Innage Road/Priorslee Road/Victoria Road/Shrewsbury Road/Haughton Lane junction, and one at the Innage Road/Vicarage Drive/Church Street junction.

The bollards erected on the islands belong to Shropshire Council.

The Greenspaces Operative also maintains the hard landscaped area at the Park Lane/Wolverhampton Road junction as well as the area on Innage Road that borders the Millennium Garden.

Fields of Shifnal have sponsored two islands - much like those in Telford - and it is hoped that Shifnal is viewed as a vibrant town by those travelling to, and through it.
